I was drawn to the cheesemakers who were displaying their talent behind large windows for all to watch. However, it was Beecher’s Café that caught my undivided attention. I was like a kid in a candy store, watching local fisherman toss their catch of the day to one another that created a show for the tourists the market was stocked with local fresh fruits, veggies and meats and I was enticed to the little knick-knack shops. Many years ago, I was lucky enough to visit Seattle, Washington, where I found myself at Pike Place Market.
